R. “Gray” Kirkpatrick, vice president of Triangle Grading And Paving, Inc. (http://www.trianglegradingpaving.com), has announced that the company donated $1,500 to Clayton Civitan Club’s Annual Gold Outing, a fundraising event where some of the proceeds go to the Special Olympics of Johnson County. The golf tournament was held on May 18.
The Special Olympics provide year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, giving them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
QUOTES: “We are honored to give back to the community and donate to such a wonderful event for one of the best charity organizations in the state,” said Kirkpatrick. “We hope that everyone enjoyed themselves at the golf outing and that the Special Olympics of Johnston County will benefit from our donation.”
